March 28 - What a night! I have to admit when Natalie told me that Richard Sprouse was coming to Dunlap with his family, my first response was; Who is that? But that is OK because he did not remember me either. For those of you who remember Richard, according to him, he has not changed since high school. I can tell you that he has a very nice wife and six of the most well-behaved children that I have ever met. We laughed, ate great food, and did a whole lot of story telling (not sure how much was the truth), but it was fun. Don't forget our next get together is in August and you never know who might show up. |

February 6 - The mini-reunion was a wonderful success. We are planning another one the first Saturday in August, so keep that in mind. The pictures and website are being updated, so keep checking back for up-to-date info. Just copy and paste the link below into the url and you should be able to view some of the pictures. If you have any problems, just let me know. We went to visit Dianne Shipley at her house in July. Those attending were Dianne, her husband and their youngest son, also Donnie Johnson, Myrna Smith, Marvin Phillips and his wife, Natalie Jenkins and me. The time few by as we talked about the good ole days on the hill. We had a wonderful time and look forward to seeing Dianne again (if she lets us back into her house). I met Beverly Hobbs and Mary Sanders at Johnson's BBQ in Dunlap. Since Beverly was on her hour lunch break, we ate and talked as fast as we could to catch up on everything. We had a great lunch and I for one, look forward to another meeting. |
